Tokyo’s “couples’ hotel” expand into Osaka

The Hotel Bali An Resort, popular in Tokyo, is also popular in Osaka. The hotel is overwhelmingly used by women’s groups. The hotel advocates a nice-to-have complex of many types of hotels including resort, city, business and love hotels.

Indeed, there are no touch screens to select a room which is a feature of love hotels, and a reception desk is set up just like a usual hotel. The lobby also has a drink station, amenity buffet and massage chairs for guests.

Hotel Bali An Resort Namba Shinsaibashi has already opened in Osaka as the first Osaka branch, Hotel Bali An Namba Dotonbori opened in May 2017.

Although there is an aspect of a love hotel, the hotel is also in high demand for general use, including inbound travel, due to its location close to Dotonbori Bridge. In fact it doesn’t have excessive price fluctuations like a general hotel and may become a hole-in-the-wall selection in the event of a hotel shortage.

Osaka is a popular destination for foreign visitors to Japan, but many domestic travelers will also visit Osaka. In response, new hotels are opening one after another, and Osaka’s hotels are becoming increasingly diversified to meet the needs of their guests.
